The Orendain family is deeply committed to their legacy, territory, production processes, and the pursuit of excellence in every bottle. For over 98 years, the family has produced unique and exceptional tequilas, and Gran Orendain is no exception. In the 1990s, Jaime, Carlos, Alfonso, and Juan Jose Orendain developed a special reserve for the first time in history, to be enjoyed with friends and family. The success was such that they decided to share it in the market. Each part of the production process is carefully supervised, from selecting the best agave to using the family’s signature yeast since 1920, as well as the artisanal brick oven and white oak barrel aging, all of which create the perfect balance in each expression of this historic tequila. It is an homage to the history and tradition of the company and the Orendain family, proudly embodying its multiple international awards.

This tequila acquires a new profile after an 8-month maturation process in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels with medium toast. This enhances the complexity of its profile and develops new woody and robust notes. The captivating aromas of cooked agave, vanilla, and black pepper contribute to an explosion of flavors that fuse dates, figs, sweet vanilla, and caramel.
